This year, we truly enjoyed Earth Day! The event was attended by more than 6,700 visitors, and we were happy to take part with our own booth. We were delighted by how many of you stopped by to see us.
Together, we presented our companies RPG Recycling, GELPO, ASSCO, and EGOÉ NOBA. Visitors could see how old tires and waste rubber can be given a new life. We introduced the recycling process as well as the subsequent production of final rubber products.
What made us happiest was the great interest from children in our educational program. We prepared several activities for them – assembling tire puzzles, playing a special version of “Ludo”, and jumping hopscotch on surfaces made from recycled rubber. There was also a quiz focused on proper tire sorting. And of course, children received a small reward for completing all the tasks!
Thank you for coming to see us. It was wonderful to see how, even in a playful way, we can help spread awareness about recycling and sustainability.
